I started out earning a degree in Psychology and Elementary Education from SUNY Stony Brook and then went on to get my Occupational Therapy degree from the University of Pennsylvania. I worked for many years in traditional settings such as school systems, hospitals and out patient clinics, working with neonates to 99 year olds in the areas of both orthopedic and neurological problems. I guess you would say that includes almost everything.
But I found that traditional methods were limiting. My own health issues, including back pain and women's health issues led me on a search for other solutions. Integrative Manual Therapy is one of my primary tools. I have been studying it and am a Certified IMTC. therapist for the last 20 years. This therapy has helped me heal issues and prevent surgery. Always looking for more answers has been and continues to be my quest. Adding other practices such as Cranial Sacral Therapy, Process Acupressure, Zero Balancing, and energy medicine healing approaches, such as Sacred Anatomy Energy Medicine, has helped my own growth and development, as well as my clients' healing. In addition, I have a Nutrition degree to enhance my practice and speed up the healing process for my clients.
